Tara Extract Tara Extract

Tara extract, extracted from the pods of Caesalpina spinosa, is a rich natural tannin (72-75%) . Tara extract provides shades from beige to grey and black according to the dye-bath. This product can be used in the leather industry to obtain very bright and light-colored leathers. Tara extract can also dye wool and cotton purplish black with iron sulfate. It does not oxidize easily thanks to its low content of free gallic acid.
